The State of Florida has approved a two-credit course, SLS 351 Five Generations At Work, based upon our transformative 5G Power Skills curriculum. South Florida State College is the first Florida State School to offer this course.
Our 5G Power Skills curriculum is offered both in in-class facilitated workshop format and in a virtual classroom format. This transformative program will make a positive difference for your students!
This course will help students get and keep a job and provide the basis for career advancement throughout their life. Students will develop an understanding of the differences between the unprecedented five generations in the workplace to navigate cross-generational boundaries at work. Critical survival skills will be developed for managing conflict, change, stress and burnout. Students will learn the new rules of technology etiquette, professionalism, ethics and the accountability expected by employers. These skills will be differentiators to build a solid career and foster career-sustaining relationships.
The 5G Power Skills course has been used for professional development training by Advent Health, CAE, Marriott, Early Learning Coalition Pinellas, Accessibility Services, and others.
